20th Blessed Edmund Rice Cricket Tournament 2017: TBS Panchkula U-13 boys cricket team won the First Match

Chandigarh/ Panchkula: The British School, Panchkula U-13 boys cricket team won the first match today under 20th Blessed Edmund Rice Cricket Tournament 2017 against The Satluj School, Sector 4, Panchkula. The Satluj School team won the toss and chose to field first. The British School boys set a target of 126 runs in 20 overs. The team consisted of Sanath Garg, Kananpreet Singh Mahendra, Tanush Gupta, Ruderansh Singh Pathania, KartikGahlot, LakshjitJohar, PushkarMittal,  Ritvik Gupta, Nikual Sharma, Saaransh Sharma, Namish Sharma, YatinGoyal, and JeeveshUppal. JeeveshUppal made 56 runs not out, LakshjitJohar made 26 runs and Ruderansh Singh Pathaniamade 15 runs.

The team of The Satluj School was all out for 39 runs. Sanath Garg and Nikual Sharma made a hat trick by taking three wickets each in a row. On hearing the news, School Director, Mr. Sanjay Sethi congratulated the team.
