The Carolina Panthers are for sale, and athletes and celebrities alike are wanting ownership.

Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, who is in the midst of an investigation accusing him of sexual misconduct and using racist language, announced he's selling the NFL team after the season.

Rapper/mogul Diddy jumped on the opportunity, tweeting that he wants to buy the Panthers.

He posted a photo of him from 2003 wearing a Julius Peppers jersey and addressed the NFL's owners: 'It's time for Black ownership!!'

Not long after, unemployed Colin Kaepernick - a free agent quarterback who has yet to find a job with a team with two weeks left this season - chimed in.

'I want in on the ownership group! Let's make it happen!' tweeted Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers QB who hasn't found a team since he first knelt on the sidelines during the playing of the national anthem last year.
