Liverpool make Van Dijk decision
08.50: Liverpool have decided not to make a move for Virgil van Dijk unless Southampton reduce their value.
The Reds tried to sign Van Dijk in the summer but were forced to pull back after being accused of tapping up.
Manchester City are also keen on the Dutch defender despite their lead at the top of the Premier League.
But the Irish Independent claim Liverpool will only make a move if the price tag is on offer.
Sturridge told he can go
08.45: Daniel Sturbridge has been told he can leave Liverpool next month.
Sturridge has failed to convince Jurgen Klopp he should be a regular in his Liverpool team.
He has made just five starts in the Premier League this term, scoring twice.
And the Sun report that he’s been told he can go - as he looks to save his World Cup hopes.
He is likely to leave on loan until the end of the season and reassess in the summer.
Coutinho focused
08.30: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain insists Philippe Coutinho remains focused on Liverpool.
Coutinho has been linked with a January move to Barcelona after they failed to snap him up in the summer.
But the winger insists Coutinho is only thinking about playing on Merseyside.
He said: “He gives us his all every game and that’s all we can ask from him.
“Phil’s a Liverpool player. He’s been the most professional person I’ve seen all season.
“He’s been top quality from the start and every time he gets on the pitch he does his all. That’s the most important thing right now.”
