The Kappara Contractor will on Tuesday be laying the final layer of asphalt all the way from the skatepark till the flyover, on the San Ġwann side of the project, Transport Malta said.

The Kappara contractor will be laying the final layer of asphalt at the northbound slip road, the University of Malta Tunnel, the slip road from the Skatepark and on the West side of the project. 

While part of the works will not affect the traffic flow, the slip road from the Skatepark towards Kappara will be closed after 09:00.  The traffic will be diverted through Msida.  There will be one lane southbound on the Gżira slip road and two lanes on the East bridge after 08:30.

TM asked motorists to avoid the area whenever possible, follow directions on site and drive carefully.
