Several minor crashes are causing big headaches for some commuters around Auckland.

The Southwestern Motorway is now going slow after a van rolled this morning.

Police confirmed there were no injuries and the driver wasn't trapped but there were delays as a tow truck and emergency services were busy clearing the scene.

The traffic was now down to a crawl between Drury and Takanini and heavy between Highbrook and Mt Wellington and through Greenlane.

A crash just before the bridge on one lane on the northern motorway also caused delays. It has since been cleared but it was slow going between Greville Rd and Onewa Rd.

The Northwestern Motorway is heavy city bound between Westgate and Royal Rd and between Great North Rd and Western Springs.

However, the Waterview Tunnel was free flowing as was westbound traffic.
