UP to hold road shows across India

In an attempt to attract investments the Uttar Pradesh Government has initiated a series of road shows across India with next will be held in Bangalore on Monday where officials will showcase the investment potential in the state.

UP Government had held its inaugural road show in Delhi on December 8 which was attended by top investors of the country.

In Bangalore the road show will be led by UP Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana and Industrial Development Commissioner Anoop Pandey. The show will be attended by the who’s who of the industrial houses as well as the state’s top officers, Director Information Anuj  Jha said in a statement issued here.

Under the road show series, the next will be held in Hyderabad on December 19, and in Mumbai on December 22 next. During the road shows, the investors of different states will be familiarize with the facilities and incentives being offered by the Uttar Pradesh Government for setting up industries in the state.

The Uttar Pradesh Government is determined to promote setting up of industries and generate employment avenues in a big way all over the state and to fulfill its resolve the government has decided to organize a grand Investors’ Summit-2018 in the state capital on February 21 and 22 next.

 Industrialist in a large number from the country as well as from abroad are expected to attend the ambitious event. The government has envisaged to get investment MoUs inked worth one lakh crore rupees during the summit, Jha said.

To materialize the summit’s impressive goal into reality, the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, and the state’s Industrial Development Minister, Satish Mahana, are making vigorous efforts to attract the investors towards Uttar Pradesh through Road Shows in the country’s cosmopolitan cities. 

Presence of some prominent industrialists like N.R. Narayana Murthy, Azim Premji, Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao and Nandan Nilakeni are expected. We are also organizing business to government meetings with companies like the Ekagga Technology  and Services Pvt. Ltd,  JGI Group, Sanford, Oracle, Apranje, Thomson Reuters South Asia Pvt. Ltd, STARA INTERNATIONAL P LTD, IBM, Sun Moksha Energy Infrastructure and Toyota Kirloskar, Jha said
