'Downright stupid' fraud charges dropped against Street Swags founder Jean Madden

Seven fraud charges have been dropped against Street Swags founder Jean Madden, who was accused of misappropriating funds from the charity.
Ms Madden was Queensland's Young Australian of the Year in 2010 for her work setting up the organisation, which provided bedding to people experiencing homelessness.
The 37-year-old was not required to appear in Brisbane's Magistrates Court this morning when the Director of Public Prosecutions withdrew seven charges due to lack of evidence.
Ms Madden is still facing two charges, which will be referred back to the Police Prosecutions Unit.
Ms Madden has posted a video on Facebook labelling the seven charges as "malicious and downright stupid".
"These faceless men don't have anything on me, because I've never done anything wrong," she said in the recording.
Her case will return to court for a summary call over on January 17.
