Bournemouth 0 - Liverpool 4: Reds run riot as Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah dazzle

LIVERPOOL demolished Bournemouth in 45 minutes to return to winning ways with a bang.

Mohamed Salah scored in Liverpool's rout at Bournemouth

The Reds were 3-0 up by half time thanks to goals from Philippe Coutinho, Dejan Lovren and Mohamed Salah.

Salah’s goal in particular was a mesmerising solo effort - the Egyptian cutting in off the wing to fire home.

And Roberto Firmino got in on the act after the break.

Liverpool were winless in two games heading into this clash at Dean Court but controlled proceedings throughout.

Coutinho’s low drive began the goal rush, with Lovren’s diving header out of the blue knocking the Cherries back.

Salah then proved why he is Liverpool’s record signing with a run down the right flank, which resulted in his firing into the far corner of the net.

The former Roma star was subbed off with 20 minutes remaining as Jurgen Klopp began to think about the busy festive period.

Liverpool face Arsenal in a crunch Premier League tie on Friday, before a Boxing Day clash with Swansea.

They then play Leicester and Burnley before an FA Cup tie with rivals Everton in January.

As for Bournemouth, they have now gone six games without a win.
