Festive revellers can now get into the Christmas spirit even more with Double Tree by Hilton Leeds as the hotels exclusive canal side Tipi has come to Leeds.

Earlier this year The Lock Kitchen and Bar opened on the ground floor of the hotel and when I visited in the summer I was quite impressed with the quality of food and efficient service.

The giant Tipi which is located alongside the restaurant has a Fire Pit, festive lighting, hand crafted beers, cocktails and a comforting menu served in a heated environment.

It sounds like somewhere different to go and is easily accessible from the centre of Leeds as it is just behind Leeds' train station. The new addition is popular with non hotel residents who are looking for a new experience.

The Sky Bar on the 13th floor has superb views of Leeds. They have just introduced two cocktails in homage to two of Leeds personalities.

Radio presenter and TV host Chris Moyles might like to try Chris's Breakfast Pint or perhaps radio presenter Stephanie Hirst might like to sample Hirsty's Nova.

So far the Tipi has been a big success with families, friends and Christmas parties. If you fancy a new venue to try out this sounds like a good starting point.
