Bourses open week down

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) began the early trading of the first day of the week on Sunday with negative trend.

In Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 100.38 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 6,217 points decreasing 15 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached at 1,374 points declining 2 points.

The DS30 index also declined 4 points to stand 2,242 points.

Of the issues traded today, 114 advanced, 149 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

In Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), turnover stood at Tk 4.34 crore.  

Selective Category Index - CSCX - lessining 28 points to stand at around 19,246 points.

Of the issues traded, 56 gained, 62 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
