
Jade Anna Sank and Daniel Seth Ross are to be married Dec. 17 at 501 Union, an event space in Brooklyn. Rabbi Nancy Wiener is to officiate with Rabbi Andrea Weiss taking part.
The couple met in Manhattan in 2012 at an open house for prospective students at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, from which they both received master’s degrees in Hebrew literature and from which both are rabbinical students in their final year.
The bride, 27, is a rabbinical intern at the Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester in Rye, N.Y. She graduated, magna cum laude, from Brandeis University.
She is a daughter of Carol B. Sank and David A. Sank of Northport, N.Y. The bride’s father is the chief operating officer of Calico Cottage, a fudge company in Amityville, N.Y. Her mother, who is retired, was a teller at Boca Bank in Boca Raton, Fla.
The groom, 30, is a rabbinical intern at Columbia/Barnard Hillel in Manhattan. He graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and received a master’s degree in secondary education from American University in Washington.
He is the son of Beth M. Ross and Dr. S. Michael Ross of Merion Station, Pa. The groom’s mother is an accountant in private practice in Merion Station, Pa. His father is a physician executive and founder of Connected Health Strategies, a consultancy focused on business development for the company’s digital health care clients in Merion Station.
