Hundreds of teachers attended a rally held in Barcelona on Sunday, to protest the implementation of Article 155 in Catalonia's education system.

Ramon Font the spokesperson of USTEC association stated that they are on the streets "to defend the Catalan linguistic immersion in the schools that now, with the article 155, is being attacked."

In compliance with Article 155, the Spanish government may intervene in Catalonia's educational system alongside other institutions.
