DPS, Chas in association with Quality Education Asia organised Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) workshop for teachers of play schools and pre-primary schools on Saturday. Over 100 pre-primary teachers including educationists attended the workshop aiming to understand the domains of learning and pedagogy for early childhood.
CBSE resource person and CEO of Quality Education Asia, Rupam Sah was the resource person of the event. The event was organised in two different sessions; first focused on the understanding of ECCE in which covered making lesson plans with three major objectives of teaching Pre-Primary students — cognitive, affective and psychomotor development of the child, school authority informed.
The second session focussed on to create the conducive learning environment for the Pre-Primary kids. During the interaction, Rupam reflected the role of teacher’s attitude in child’s development and parent-teacher collaboration. The workshop had an open interaction wherein the participants were made to understand the significance of relating to the level of the small kids and explore their horizon.
