Miami trimmed the deficit to 7-3 on its second possession. Kenyan Drake ran 31 yards to the Buffalo 13-yard line but Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler was sacked on third-and-5 and Cody Parkey made a 28-yard field goal.

2nd Quarter

The Dolphins started at their own 6 and moved to the Bills' 23 yard line but their 14-play drive ended with a 46-yard field goal from Parkey with 9:20 left in the second quarter.

McCoy scored another touchdown and reached a career rushing milestone as Buffalo took a 14-6 lead. Tyrod Taylor connected with Charles Clay for 21 yards on third-and-6 to move into Dolphins territory. McCoy gained 14 yards on the next play to pass 10,000 career rushing yards.
