Meet Riya Subodh, The Winner Of India's Next Top Model

New Delhi:  Congratulations, Riya Subodh. India's Next Top Model Season 3 had a blockbuster finale on Saturday with Riya Subodh from Ahmedabad winning the title of the "top model." Contestants Sabita Karki and Shweta Raj were the first and second runners-up to the title. The theme of India's Next Top Model for this year was 'Fashion Gets Tough' and Riya Subodh surely knows how to impress the fashion police. Riya Subodh's win was first congratulated by presenter and head judge Malaika Arora, actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman and celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani - who were on the panel of judges. Actress-model Anusha Dandekar and grooming expert Neeraj Gaba were part of the show as mentors.

After a spectacular win, Riya Subodh said being crowned as the 'top model' is like a life-changing experience for her. "India's Next Top Model is a lifetime experience for me. I am saying this because from all the contestants, I was the only one who had no experience of the big fashion world in big cities like Mumbai," IANS quoted Riya as saying.

"As I look back, I must say that this wouldn't have been possible without my parent's support, and a special thanks to the makers of the show who gave me the new identity of a model," said the winner.

Talking about her most precious experiences on the show, Riya said: "The biggest highlight for me was the photoshoot with Milind Sir and Malaika Ma'am. When I decided to take part in India's Next Top Model, I knew that this show is going to change my life forever so when judges announced my name as the winner I had all the memories coming back," reported IANS.

Ahead of the grand finale, the top three contestants - Riya, Shweta and Sabita - shot for the OPPO 2018 calendar, the theme of which was family portraits.
