Ooredoo Kuwait sponsors IoT Conference and Expo 2017

KUWAIT: Reiterating its leading position as a supporter of telecommunication technology, Ooredoo is sponsoring the Internet of Things (IoT) Conference and Expo 2017 which will be taking place from 19th to 21st December at Jumeriah Hotel Kuwait. The event is an initiative led by Ooredoo Business, and organized and managed by Vigor Events and is in collaboration with the Ministerial Council’s Central Agency of Information Technology and IoT Asia.

The event aims to shed light on the challenges and obstacles that come with the emerging new technology of Internet of Things, which is projected to have substantial leading growth by the year 2020. The technology is expected to play an integral part in a variety of sectors, such as healthcare, transportation, and services sector.

The conference is also aiming to pose solutions for the various logistic and security solutions that are expected to materialize with the leading of this technology. Over the span of three days, the event will feature talks and discussions led by a consortium of professionals and entrepreneurs, to shed light on their experience and the different ways to overcome obstacles in this thriving mode of usage for information technology. Speakers will also highlight the ways different sectors collaborate to better serve individuals and users of this technology.
