Jenna Ruth Lowenstein and Emily Rooke Norman were married Dec. 16 at Housing Works Bookstore in New York. Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum officiated with Ms. Norman’s father, Stuart R. Norman Jr., leading the ring exchange and blessing.

Ms. Lowenstein (left), 30, is a digital strategy adviser to Democratic organizations and candidates, including the Office of Hillary Rodham Clinton in New York. She served as a digital director of Mrs. Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and as a vice president for digital at Emily’s List from 2014-15. She graduated from Georgetown.

She is the daughter of Deborah J. Diefert of Box Elder, S.D., and Robert D. Lowenstein, of Morristown, N.J. Ms. Lowenstein’s father is a real estate investor in Morristown. Her mother retired as a clinical Medicare specialist at AristaCare in South Plainfield, N.J., a health care management company. The bride is the stepdaughter of Roberta Decker Lowenstein and Al Diefert.

Ms. Norman, 31, is the vice president of analytics at the Global Strategy Group, a political polling firm in New York. She has previously worked as an elections analyst for the Democratic National Committee in Washington and oversaw constituency analytics for President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College and received a master of public policy from Harvard.

Ms. Norman’s parents, Gail Rooke-Norman and Mr. Norman of Griswold, Conn., are lawyers with practices in Danielson, Conn., and Jewett City, Conn., respectively. Mr. Norman is also a justice of the peace in Griswold.

The couple met in Washington in 2013.
