Youth stabbed multiple times by three Another attacked for refusing liquor money
Indore : A 27-year-old youth was stabbed multiple times by three persons following an altercation near Patel Bridge area on Friday late night. According to police, victim Hardeep Kumar, a resident of CRP Line was standing near the Sai Temple when accused Azhar, a resident of Khajrana and his two friends Cheeku and Pankaj stabbed him multiple times with a sharp edged object causing severe injuries on his ribs and chest. Family members of the victim rushed him to MY Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. On the other hand, accused Azhar alleged that Hardeep attacked him with a tea glass over some previous rivalry following which he thrashed Hardeep with the same broken glass. Police have registered a cross complaint in the incident and investigation is underway. It must be noted that Hardeep was booked earlier for allegedly killing a youth over some dispute. In another incident, complainant Shyamu Chauhan alleged that accused Ravi stabbed him with a sharp edged weapon on refusing to give money for liquor near Lohan Mandi area on Friday.
Infant’s body dumped in public toilet
An infant was found dead in a public toilet at Shiv Parvati Nagar in Bhanwarkuan area on Friday. According to police, complainant Jagdish, a resident of Shiv Parvati Nagar alleged that he found an infant abandoned in a public toilet near his residence. As the local residents gathered they found that the infant was dead. The exact reason of his death was unknown and police are searching for the family members. Police have sent the body for autopsy at district hospital and are examining CCTV footage of the area to identify the accused.
Man dies in road accident
A 45-year-old youth died when an unidentified vehicle hit him near Pipliyahana Square on Friday late night. Deceased Rakesh was going near Papa Bakery area when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him causing severe injuries. The injured was rushed to MY Hospital but could not be saved.
