Vadodara: Dilip Vasava, a resident of Atladara, was booked at Manjalpur police station on Friday for allegedly kidnapping two four-year-old girls from his neighbourhood, and molesting them.

One of the girls' father told the police in his complaint that Vasava took his daughter and that of his neighbour's on his bike to a deserted place near Vadsar bridge on Friday evening. Taking advantage of the darkness Vasava started to touch the girls' private parts. Later when the girls started to cry Vasava quickly brought them back to the neighbourhood. He dropped the girls near their houses and ran away.

Police said that when the locals saw the girls crying they took them to their house. When the girls' parents asked them why they were crying, one of them narrated the incident. Later her father approached Manjalpur police station and registered a complaint against Vasava.

Police sources said that Vasava was unemployed and used to roam the whole day.
