World no.3 PV Sindhu, an Olympic silver medallist beated world no. 2 Alkane Yamaguchi in just 36 minutes with a score of 21-9, 21-13 and nailed group A in the women’s single at Sheikh Hamdan indoor stadium of Dubai.
Sindhu seemed to be very satisfied with her victory and even said “I am quite satisfied with the win. Even though, I qualified for the semifinals on Thursday, I didn’t take it easy.
