
JDA team demolishing unauthorised constructions.

JAMMU: As part of anti-encroachment drive, the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) demolished two structures which were raised unauthorisedly.
During the drive, the JDA Enforcement Wing removed two Pacca structures raised on JDA land in Khasra No 781, village Dilli, Trikuta Nagar Extension.
As per the direction of Vice Chairman, R.K Shavan, a team under the supervision of Director Land Management JDA, Davinder Singh Katoch comprising of Chief Khilafwarzi Offcier, Narinder Singh, Khilafwarzi Offcier Pankaj Sambyal, Khilafwarzi Inspector Romesh Kumar and field staff removed the encroachment.
“The land in question is part of Khasara No 781 and belongs to JDA and the adjoining land has been allotted by JDA to the Power Development Department and PHE,” a JDA official said.
The JDA team also stopped the ongoing fencing work of Social Forestry Department where in the department in Village Channi Kamala (Trikuta Nagar Extension), Khasra No 19 was installing RCC Poles with barbed wire and planting trees unauthorizedly without prior permission from JDA.
JDA is taking serious view on unauthorized construction which is/are raised on JDA land on the pretext of fake documents or revenue paper of some other private land mentioned the same shall be removed shortly, a JDA official said.
