Kochi-based hardware incubator Maker Village will organise a workshop on ' Rights' for start-ups in association with K & S Partners, at its campus here on December 19.

The workshop will cover topics such as 'Introduction to IP', 'Insights to trademarks, design, copyrights and patents', 'Practise pointers for Information and Communications Technology Patents', 'Standard Essential Patents (SEPs)', 'Strategizing patent filing', 'Common Mistakes in Patenting' and 'Start-ups benefits', according to a release here today.

All this will help the budding startup entrepreneurs, it said.
