Threeof the topU.S. high school basketball teams,including the Montverde Academy, Providence Day School andChaminadeCollege Prep,were invited to Beijingto competeagainst four of China's top high school basketball teams and two CBA youth teams: BeijingTsinghua University High School, Beijing No.4 School, BeijingZhongguangcunSchool, Beijing No.22 School,BaiyiYouth and BeijingShougang Youth teamin a four-day tournament.

The USA top ranked team, Montverde,won the friendly competition. Providence Day, Baiya Youth and Chaminade came in the second, third and fourth, respectively.

China hadsome of their top prospects playing,butit was clear the Americanyouthtalent is still far superior.For all the Chinese teams, the game is undoubtedly a valuable opportunity to learn the coaching, concepts and methods of basketball in the United States.
