SAN ANTONIO - The Spurs on Saturday recalled first-round guard Derrick White from their Austin G League affiliate.
White, who was assigned to the Austin Spurs on Dec. 10, helped the team go 2-0 for the week by averaging 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 23.0 minutes while shooting 52 percent (13 of 25) from the floor, including 50 percent (5 of 10) from 3-point range.
White registered 22 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 27 minutes against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Dec. 10. He had a team-high 18 points on 7 of 12 in 19 minutes Friday night against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
