Mentally disabled man killed in road crash

Moulvibazar: A mentally disabled man was killed on Moulvibazar-Srimangal road as a bus hit him while he was crossing the road on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Roni Miah, 20, son of Abdul Haque, hailed from Giashnagar area in sadar upazila of the district.

Sub-inspector of Moulvibazar Model Police Station Sabbir Ahsan confirmed the matter.

Quoting locals police said Roni was hit by a Moulvibazar bound bus while he crossing a road in Kodupur area leaving him spot dead.

The body was sent to 250-bed Moulvibazar hospital for autopsy, the SI said.
