Woman booked for cheating

PUNE: A woman has been booked for allegedly duping Anjanikumar Mishra (36) from Chandannagar of Rs 2.27 lakh on the promise of helping him start a business process outsourcing (BPO) unit.


Inspector S P Patil said the suspect approached Mishra in October this year. "The woman took money from him under the pretext of consultation and registration fees," he said, adding that Mishra lodged a complaint when the woman stopped responding to his calls.
