It didn't take long for the Miami Hurricanes - ranked at No. 8 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll - to take control of their road game against George Washington on Saturday.
One of the best plays of the game came in the first six minutes from Miami. It wasn't flashy or jaw-dropping, but it's one of the best because of how breezy and effortless the Hurricanes executed this perfect alley-oop.
After a missed 3-pointer, Anthony Lawrence II grabbed the rebound and casually took the ball near the half-court line to reset. Whether he saw an opportunity or it's in the Hurricanes' playbook, Lawrence made an unexpected move, tossing it to Ebuka Izundu, who was wide-open down low.
That's how you show off a great alley-oop and make it look easy.
