NEW DELHI: A new time table of feeder buses have been prepared by the transport department of the Delhi government for improving services.

There are 800 feeder buses in the city that carry around seven lakh passengers daily, from mostly congested parts of the cities to metro stations and ISBTs.

In the new time table, the existing number of 73 routes has been brought down to 50.

The buses from the 23 scrapped routes will be shifted to other routes to improve frequency, a transport department official said.

The buses on the routes will be available at a 10-minute interval, he said.

The time table will come into effect after its approval by the state transport authority.

It has been communicated to the feeder bus operators to have there views.

The buses will run on different routes from 5.30 in the morning till 11 in the night.
