PUNE: The airport authorities are all set to introduce separate
security check facilities for domestic and international passengers by mid-January 2018.
An airport official said a that single gate for security check of all flyers had been set up. Now, there would be separate security check facilities for domestic and international passengers.
It has been observed that there is one domestic and one international flight with a gap of half-an-hour.
The separate security facilities will help in ensuring there is no chaos inside the terminal building.
Separate facilities for domestic and international passengers are available in all major airports, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
