Chelsea news: Antonio Conte will resign if Man Utd sign Willian - ex-player
CHELSEA boss Antonio Conte will resign if Manchester United sign Willian in the January transfer window.

That is the view of ESPN FC pundit and former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley.
Willian has not been a regular starter for the Blues in the Premier League this season.
He has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United reportedly interested in his services.
He would be the second player to join United from Chelsea in the space of six months after Nemanja Matic moved for £35million in July.
I think Mourinho would have him but I think if Chelsea sell him there in January, Conte will just walk out the door
Burley cannot understand why Willian does not feature more often under Antonio Conte.
But he thinks the Italian manager will not want to lose another star to a direct rival and will quit in January if the decision is taken out of his control.
“Stevie Nicol and I were watching Chelsea play Huddersfield the other day which wasn’t a huge game for them,” Burley said.
“We just sat looking at each other saying ‘why isn’t he playing more often? Why does he find himself on the bench so much?’.

“He’s so fast, he works hard, his set pieces are great, corners, free kicks, he gets goals, he’s direct and runs at people.
“For all the reasons you just said I cannot see them selling to Manchester United.

Willian played the whole 90 minutes in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Southampton at Stamford Bridge today.
