Carmelo Anthony returned to Madison Square Garden on Saturday for the first time since he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Although there were boos, the New York fans gave Anthony a warm welcome for the most part during his introduction that was capped off by a nice thank you video.

The Knicks played clips of Anthony on the court, as well as of him doing work in the community on the jumbotron. They also highlighted his 62-point game and the fact that he's seventh on their all-time points scored list.

Anthony didn't have the best seven seasons with the Knicks, especially with everything Phil Jackson did, but he helped lead them to the Eastern Conference semifinals - he had some good times.

The 10-time All-Star told reporters before the game that his return would be "a little emotional." He said, per ESPN:

"It's not like I was there for a year or two seasons," Anthony said. "I mean, I spent a lot of time there, almost seven years. It was great times, it was bad times, but regardless, I always stuck with it, I always remained professional, I always came and did my job whether people liked me or not, so hopefully they recognize that."
