(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Dec 16 (KUNA) -- Turkish security forces killed eight Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) members, including four women, in the eastern city of Tunceli, official authorities said Saturday.

A statement by Tunceli governor official said security forces also seized Kalashnikov and M-16 machineguns during the attack on the PKK members.

Turkish authorities announced earlier that 378 civilians were killed since PKK relaunched military operations in July 2015. (end) rs.bs
