Senegalese tourist goes missing at Brandberg Mountain

The police in the Erongo Region are seeking help from the public to find a Senegalese tourist who went missing in the area of Brandberg Mountain on Friday.
It is alleged that on Friday, a 37-year-old male, Mark Mokosho, drove alone from Swakopmund to Brandberg in a white Ford Ranger, which belongs to Namibia Car Rentals.
According to Deputy Commissioner Erastus Ikuyu, of the Erongo Police, Mokosho was last seen by people in the area of Brandberg.
He allegedly parked the car next to gravel road and went hiking in the mountains where he got lost.
The people in the area notified Uis police station around 23h00 Friday night after Mokosho failed to return to his car.
The police conducted the search but they could not find him.
People in the area are requested to assist in the search and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police.
The police search continues.
