Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Star Wars: The Last Jedi hero Oscar Isaac is in talks to lend his voice to the character of Gomez in an animated version of The Addams Family, to be helmed by Conrad Vernon.
Variety said no other prospective cast members have been publicly discussed yet.
The movie is set for theatrical release Oct. 11, 2019, Collider.com reported.
Charles Addams' characters first appeared in popular New Yorker magazine cartoons dating back to 1938. They later starred in a TV sitcom, which aired 1964-66, as well as two films and a Broadway stage musical.
