THE hottest toys of the year are set to sell out well ahead of Christmas Day, as shoppers search for the perfect gift to delight friends and family.
Mr Toys Toyworld Kawana manager Karen Ellis said current crazes like the Glittler LOL Dolls would be gone within days.
"They won't even last the end of this week, they'll literally all be gone," she said.
"For girls, LOL dolls are the number one thing."
Larger Hatchimals toys have already sold out.
Ms Ellis said there would usually be similar alternatives or other versions of products available, but those who had something specific in mind should visit the store before it was sold out.
"We'll definitely still have stuff for those late shoppers, but not key lines," she said.
On Thursday December 21 the store will be open until midnight, and will be the perfect time for shoppers who work during the day or want to escape the crowds.
Otherwise, shoppers should aim to get their toy run done before 9am.
"Ten o'clock starts to get crazy, 11am-midday on you won't be able to move," Ms Ellis said.
Ms Ellis' top toy recommendations for girls were the LOL dolls, Fur Real toys, Pikmi Pops, Shopkins for younger girls, Sylvanian Families and Beanie Boo toys.
Boys will love remote control cars, Nerf guns, scooters and Hot Wheels tracks.
Meanwhile, there are plenty of products to delight adults, including quad-copters and the bigger remote control cars.
Recent Star Wars and My Little Pony movies will provide a surge in popularity for their merchandise lines.
