A federal judge on Friday ruled on the release conditions for former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson approved his release from his Palm Beach County, Fla., home. He has to be home by 11 p.m. and can only travel within Palm Beach County and Broward County in the state of Florida.
The release is on a $10 million bond that is secured by four properties should he ever fail to appear in court.
Manafort’s wife, Kathleen Manafort, put $5 million in an account, and his daughter, Andrea Manafort Shand, put $2 million in a separate account. Those assets, which cannot be touched without a court order, will make up the difference in bond should the four forfeited properties value drop below $10 million.
Manafort must stay inside between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. and is subject to GPS monitoring. All domestic travel must be approved, and he is still barred from leaving the country.
Manafort was indicted last month by special counsel Robert Mueller and his business associate Rick Gates — the first formal charges as part of his probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.
The charges range from conspiring to launder money to failing to register as a foreign agent.
Manafort and Gates are due back in court for a status hearing on Jan. 16.
