This month saw an uptick in the number of Americans who say the country is headed in the right direction, according to a new poll.

The poll, conducted by the Associated Press and NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, said that 30 percent of Americans believe the country is on the right track.

But that is 6 percent higher than the last time the same poll asked that question in late September through early October.

At the same time, a strong majority of U.S. adults, 67 percent, said they at least lean toward disapproval of President Trump's performance in office.
