"I congratulate Rahul Gandhi on his elevation as Congress president," says Sonia Gandhi as she passes baton to her son.
"Unprecedented challenges present before the country with atmosphere of fear prevailing since 2014, but we are not going to get scared," says Sonia Gandhi. It is a moral battle. Congress should introspect and make sacrifices if need be to protect the country’s democratic values, says Sonia Gandhi.
"Personal attacks on my son Rahul have made him a fearless person. I am sure he will lead the party with courage," says Sonia Gandhi.
