Manohar Parrikar on Friday stated that 98
plots have been created for allotment as per provisional layout approval at the proposed Latambarcem Industrial Estate in
Bicholim constituency.
Parrikar, who also holds the industries portfolio, informed the
Goa Legislative Assembly in a written reply to a question by
Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar, that the conversion of use of land of the industrial estate area is under progress.
Provisional layout of the industrial estate has been approved, while construction of the compound wall is under way, he stated.
Tenders for construction of internal roads are under scrutiny, while estimates for water supply and electricity to Latambarcem industrial estate have been sanctioned, Parrikar said.
