Industrial oils decline on lower demand
Mumbai, Dec 16 (PTI) Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial declined further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following lower demand from soaps and shippers industries.
While refined palmolein gained owing to sustained offtake from retailers.
Groundnut oil and linseeds oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activities.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold eased by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 4,550 from Friday's closing level of Rs 4,560 and castor oil commercial moved down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 940 as against Rs 942 yesterday.
Linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 770 per 10 kg.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein moved up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 625 compared to Rs 623 previously and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 950 per 10 kg. PTI ARR SBT
