Listen to C Ashwath’s movie songs tomorrow

BENGALURU: A live concert ‘Hejje Gejje-10’ will be held in the city where C Ashwath’s composed film music songs will be rendered by popular Kannada singers such as MD Pallavi, Shwetha Prabhu, Srikrupa, Ananya Bhat, Ajay Warrier and Govind on December 17 at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, Malleswaram. The programme is organised by Aviratha. The funds collected from the event on its tenth anniversary will be used to provide books to underprivileged children in Kannada government schools at the border of Karnataka.

“Tll date, no one has organised a concert with his film music renditions. This is first of its kind. All the funds collected from the concert shall be used to donate books to the kids,” says Shashidhar, a member of Aviartha.The trust has been contributing for children’s education for past seven years. “We also try to create a bond with the children and encourage them to study,” he says.For more details, contact Somashekhar 98800 86300 or visit www.aviratha.org.
