The Boilermakers add four to the 2018 recruiting class in 24 hours

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue added two more commitments from Georgia Saturday night, running back Evan Anderson and tight end Payne Durham. 

Anderson made his announcement on Twitter. Meanwhile, Durham hasn't announced his commitment yet but the Journal & Courier has learned he committed during his official visit this weekend. 

Anderson and Durham bring Purdue's class to 23 known commitments. Four commitments have come within the last 24 hours. Alabama defensive lineman Jeff Marks announced his commitment Friday night and Ohio receiver Kory Taylor made his pledge known earlier Saturday. 

The 6-foot-1, 197-pound Anderson rushed for 1,207 yards during his senior season at Collins Hills High School in Suwanee, Georgia. He scored 15 total touchdowns, including 13 on the ground. 

The 6-6, 250-pound Durham attends Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia. He also had offers from Duke and Missouri. 

The early signing period begins Wednesday.
