12 held with 6k bottles of IMFL in Junagadh

Rajkot: State vigilance team seized liquor worth Rs 13.80 lakh and arrested 12 persons from Junagadh town ahead of Gujarat assembly polls result on Saturday. Those arrested are native of of Uttar Pradesh. It's believed that the liquor was to be delivered to three bootleggers in Junagadh.


The vigilance team raided Shreeji Godown on Kamdad Road of Junagadh and found Indian Made Foreign Liquor in huge quantity.


According to the police, there were 6,259 bottles of liquor worth Rs 13.80 lakh. Police have also recovered a truck in which the liquor was transported. This liquor was to be delivered to three wanted bootleggers of Junagadh and Gir Somnath districts.
