JAMMU: Minister of State for Education, Priya Sethi on Saturday held grievances redressal camp at Party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar.
While sharing her views on public Darbar, Priya said that Modi Government at the Centre as well BJP-PDP Government in the State is committed to the welfare of public in every segment following the principle of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikaas.
In order to address each and every problem faced by public, she said that BJP has chalked out a schedule of party MPs and MLAs every week to provide an easy access to the general public and BJP activists for direct interaction outside the Civil Secretariat.
While putting blame on NC and Congress for playing with the future of the youths, Sethi said that BJP-PDP Coalition Government is sincere towards every section of society which is particularly evident by the recent announcement of initiating process of regularising 60,000 daily wagers which was pending for more than a decade, which is quite a number. She also boasted on the achievement of Education Department wherein about 1,200 Rehbar-e-Talim (ReT) teachers are being proposed to be regularized, for which concrete steps have already begun.
More than fifty deputations met the minister for redressal of their personal as well as public problems. Various important issues were highlighted by the deputations like construction of roads, water, electricity, construction of health centres and other socially relevant issues. Other deputations asked for development of their areas, development of ponds and parks.
Deputations asked for the construction and renovation of schools along with increasing the staff in Migrant Camp, Mawa Brahamana, Ghar, Mera Mandrian and other areas. The whole programme was coordinated by State Secretary and State In-charge Election Related Matters, Rajinder Sharma and State Additional Office Secretary, Suresh Sharma.
