India-based Larsen & Toubro has fully commissioned the 225MW Sikalbaha combined cycle power plant in Bangladesh which is owned by the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB).
The gas-fired power plant, which is set to begin commercial operations, is located in Sikalbaha near Chittagong in southeastern Bangladesh.
L&T was awarded a $200m contract in August 2014 by BPDB to provide design, engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of the Sikalbaha power plant on a turnkey basis. Read More…
