It’s okay not to have a plan

An actress, singer and YouTuber, Mithila Palkar says it’s okay not to have your entire life planned out. Speaking at TEDxNITSilchar, she says that in this fast-moving world, plans don’t always materialise. Being happy and passionate about what you do is more important than doing what society wants you to do. Follow your dreams, pursue your passions, and things will eventually fall into place. In this inspirational video, she tells her audience why one should never accept defeat.

Make your dream a reality

Invited to deliver a speech at Harvard University, actor R. Madhavan talks about how it is important to have a dream and a goal to make India great by 2030. He talks about the importance of villages in India and how they hold the key to development and success. His dream is to see villages in India being as developed as the cities. The plausibility of this dream, however, depends entirely on how we channelise our resources, he says. He calls for the need to have smart villages rather than smarter cities. Only upon achieving this balance would India be a developed nation by 2030.
