The store's Christmas advert told the story of giving a meaningful gift this Christmas and encouraged the public to 'show them you know them' emphasising the importance of a thoughtful gift.

The advert generated a social lift of 141 per cent for Boots and maintained a positive sentiment of 81.9 per cent of all social engagements.

A spokesperson said Boots stores will be open on Christmas Eve but will be operating at reduced hours, however you can check the exact opening times of your local stores here.

Boots retail stores will be closed on Christmas Day and some stores will be closed on Boxing Day while others will be operating at reduced hours.

Stores will be operating at reduced hours on Wednesday 27 December, but some will remain closed and on New Year’s Eve Boots stores will be open but some will be operating at reduced hours.

The last order dates for you delivery from Boots to come in time for Christmas is Tuesday 19 December, however Boots does offer an order and collect service.

If you place your order before 6pm it will be ready for collection at a Boots store after 12pm the next day.

This service is only available Sunday to Friday so the last day to order to collect the next day for Christmas will be Friday December 22.
