o M.Sc in Food Technology with elective in Fruit and Vegetable Technology, CFTRI, University of Mysore, Mysore, India, 1987-1989. ICAR Jr. fellowship
o Ph. D. in Food Technology: Studies on the application of ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis processes for clarification and concentration of tropical fruit juices and natural colour extracts. CSIR-CFTRI, University of Mysore, Mysore, India, 2004.

Merit scholarship given by the Govt. of Manipur for a period of 4 years (1983 to 1987) during my B. Tech course at Parbhani (Maharashtra).

o ICAR Junior Fellowship given by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi for a period of two years from Aug 1987 to Jul 1989 during M.Sc. Food Tech. Course.
o Indo-French Fellowship : Awarded this Fellowship for 10 months (Aug. 1995 to May 1996) by the French Embassy, Paris during my advanced training at CIRAD, in Montpellier, France under official deputation (1 year and 4 months) on collaborative EU project on Mango processing & Packaging.

o N.N.Mohan Memorial Award for the best research paper published in the Indian Food Packer Journal, awarded by the All India Food Preservers' Association, New Delhi. Title of the Paper: Solar Drying of White Onion Flakes, Indian Food Packer, 41(1) 15-28,1988.
o Guru Joga Award for being the top ranking student in the area of Fruit and Veg. Technology of M.Sc.(Food Tech) course at CFTRI,1989 awarded by the All India Food Preservers' Assn., New Delhi.
o N.N.Mohan Memorial Award for the best research paper published in the Indian Food Packer Journal, awarded by the All India Food Preservers' Association, New Delhi. Title of the Paper: Preliminary studies on clarification of fruit juices by ultrafiltration. Indian Fd. Packer,Sept-Oct, 1993 page 9-15.
o Best poster Awards: 5 in National and International conferences
