Last Amazon delivery times and dates for Christmas 2017

You’re running out of time to place an order through Amazon if you want it to arrive by Christmas Day. Here’s everything you need to know about the firm’s holiday shipping deadlines and last times for 2017.

If you’re planning on purchasing a product with free shipping, you should place your order no later than December 15 to ensure it arrives before the big day; however, those who opt for standard shipping have until December 18.

Orders eligible for Amazon’s one-day shipping option should be submitted by December 23, while folk looking to take advantage of Amazon’s same-day option have until 9:30 a.m. (local time) on December 24.

Prime Now members who find themselves short of a gift on Christmas Eve have the option to order something for delivery within two hours, so long as they place their order by 9:45 p.m. on December 24 – but we wouldn’t suggest cutting it that fine.

To recap: Orders need to be placed by December 15 for free shipping, December 18 for standard shipping, December 23 for one-day shipping, 9:30 a.m. on December 24 for same-day shipping and 9:45 p.m. on December 24 for two-hour delivery.

If you find yourself in a pickle, don’t forget you can trial Amazon Prime for free for 30-days, giving you more leeway with getting your last minute Christmas deliveries.
