Mass signature campaign begins for RUCSU polls

Rajshahi: A four-day mass signature collection programme began at Rajshahi University on Friday demanding  RUCSU (Rajshahi University Central Students’ Union) election.

‘Shiksharthi Andolon Manch’ arranged the campaign in front of the RU central library at 11.30 am.

A memorandum will be handed over to the RU vice-chancellor after the end of the programme on December 18, said the organisers.

Next course of action will be taken after observing the authorities' response, they added.

RUCSU Andolon Mancha activist Sajib Kumar Sarkar, Md. Habibur Rahman Habib, Md. Sharif, Zuabair Hussain Zoha, Murshed Shahriar, Abdul Majid Antar, Arafat Raman, Rizvi Ahmed and Kurshid Rajib, among others, were present at the programme.
